These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of taxi booking services provided by Tanu Travels (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or using our services, you (“customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with the following Terms.
1. Pricing & Discounts

All fares are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable service charges.

Discounts, promotional offers, or coupons apply only to the basic fare and do not apply to additional charges such as tolls, state taxes, parking fees, or driver allowances.
2. Payment for Extra Charges

Any additional charges (e.g., tolls, parking fees, state entry permits, night charges, or driver allowances) are the customer’s responsibility.

Such charges must be paid directly to the driver in cash at the time of the journey.
3. Vehicle & Driver Details

Details of the assigned driver and vehicle (name, contact, and vehicle number) will be shared with the customer approximately one (1) hour before the scheduled pickup.

These details may be sent via SMS, WhatsApp, or email depending on the information provided by the customer during booking.
4. Vehicle Availability

In rare cases, if the booked vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Tanu Travels will provide an alternative vehicle from the same or similar segment at no extra cost.

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure your journey is not disrupted.
5. Air Conditioning (AC)

Air conditioning (AC) is provided in all vehicles; however, customers acknowledge that:

AC may not function effectively on steep hilly routes.

AC may not be operational when the vehicle is stationary or not in motion.

6. Mileage & Timings
-
Mileage and trip duration are calculated from the driver’s reporting point (starting location) to the point where the trip ends and the driver is released.

Waiting time, detours, and return travel to the driver’s starting location are included in the total calculation.
7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate pickup and drop-off details at the time of booking.

Customers are responsible for their personal belongings. Tanu Travels is not liable for any loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.

Any misconduct, damage to the vehicle, or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of the trip without a refund.
8. Liability

While we strive to provide timely service, Tanu Travels is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, government restrictions, or other factors beyond our control.

Our liability is limited to providing the booked transportation service, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as missed flights, trains, or business meetings.
9. Modifications & Cancellations

Cancellations and modifications to bookings must be made in advance through our official contact channels.

Cancellation charges, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of booking.
10. Amendments to Terms
Tanu Travels reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a new “Last Updated” date.
